Fiscal Beat Consulting is located on land known by many names including Moh’kinsstis (Blackfoot), Wincheesh-pah (Nakoda), Otos-kwunee (Cree), Kootsisáw (Tsuu’tina), Klincho-tinay-indihay (Slavey), referred to by settlers as Calgary. This stolen land is in the Treaty 7 region of Southern Alberta which includes traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy including the Siksika, Kainai, and Piikani Nations, the Tsuut’ina, and the Stony Nakoda Nations, including the Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Wesley Nations. It is also home to the Metis Nation of Alberta, Region 3. We welcome those visitors that may be accessing us from different territories and serve clients from across Turtle Island.

We would like to further recognize that despite centuries of oppression, and genocide at the hand of colonizers, Indigenous Peoples are still present on this land, stewarding its care for future generations.
